Stiefel's fall season tickets to go on sale

Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Monday for fall season shows at the Stiefel Theatre for the Performing Arts, 151 S. Santa Fe.

On sale will be tickets for concerts by the Celtic Tenors (Sept. 8); John Legend (Sept. 28); the Glenn Miller Orchestra (Oct. 1); Art Garfunkel (Nov. 8); Parsons Dance with the East Village Opera Company (Nov. 12); Darius Rucker (Dec. 3); and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones (Dec. 20).

Strong ticket sales are expected the first day and some shows may sell out early, said Jane Gates, Stiefel Theatre executive director.

Tickets may be purchased at the Stiefel box office from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, by phone at 827-1998 or through Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or www.ticketmaster.com.

Gates said she expects long lines and jammed phone lines Monday, and she recommends purchasing tickets online if possible.

Beginning Aug. 3, Stiefel tickets also will be available for walk-up purchase at House of Sight and Sound, 1300 S. Santa Fe. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
