Palin first to sell out chamber dinner

A record 5,000 people have purchased tickets to attend the 2010 Salina Area Chamber of Commerce annual meeting featuring Sarah Palin, far surpassing the number who have attended past annual meetings, according to chamber officials.
The event was an official sellout as of Wednesday, according to Dennis Lauver, Chamber CEO and president.
“The last tickets were sold today,” Lauver said.
Don Weiser, chamber senior vice president, said this is the first time in his 34 years at the chamber that the event had sold out.
Lauver said 1,408 people will be seated on the floor of the Bicentennial Center for the Feb. 5 meeting and will be served dinner. Another 3,600 people will be seated in the gallery.
Lauver said most of the ticket holders are chamber members.

Sarah balanced her state's budget and brought new jobs to Alaska. Obama has spent $3 trillion dollars to bailout the rich fatcats and he's destroyed eight million American jobs. Now you tell me which one has done a better job in public office?

Check out your facts people. As for that Stupid birth certificate crap..if you read the state of Hawaii's vital statistics information, you CAN'T request a copy of your long form. You get SHORT FORM ONLY.

Style over Substance says....
Two years ago you couldn't have given away a hundred tickets to this event. No one would have cared in the slightest about seeing some obscure governor who had never distinguished herself in any meaningful way. Now, thanks to the relentless efforts of her handlers and the media's eagerness to report on her every move, she's become an instant celebrity. Still hasn't actually done anything, but she's nevertheless become the most famous woman in the world. And that's really all we care about. Celebrity is all that matters. It's irrelevant how she became a celebrity or whether she could come close to living up to her carefully crafted image. She's a star, and we humble earthlings can't wait to bask in her reflected glow.

Sarah Brings Excitement says....
Sarah knows we have 50 states, not the mythical 57 of Obama ("I've campaigned in all 57 states" - Obama). She has a US birth certificate, unlike the questionable short form "anybody can make one" certificate of Obama (who also got a US scholarship as "a foreign student"). She has experience of governning the largest state in the Union, unlike the local Acorn Obama. For wisdom, authenticity, and experience, Sarah beats the ObaMan hands down! She's like a breath of fresh air and a beam of sunlight in a dark and gloomy place of financial despair.
