Chiropractic Wellness Center is working with the Love, Chloe Foundation to sell T-shirts and stuffed monkeys to raise money for the "There's a Monkey in My Chair" program during September, which is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
"There's a Monkey in My Chair" is designed for preschool and elementary children who are away from school because of cancer or brain tumors. Each child is provided with a "monkey kit," which includes a stuffed monkey that takes his or her place in the classroom when he or she is unable to attend. Kits are provided to the children at no cost.
Through the month of September, Chiropractic Wellness Center, 1638 S. Ohio, will sell T-shirts with the slogan "I'm Aware" for $10, and stuffed monkeys for $10. All proceeds go to support the Love, Chloe Foundation.
The Love, Chloe Foundation is a nonprofit organization located in Salina. For information, go to lovechloefoundation.org.
