Hill City man's death investigated

HILL CITY — The Kansas Bureau of Investigation, the Graham County Sheriff’s Office and the Hill City Police are investigating the death of a Hill City man, whose body was discovered Wednesday.
According to the Graham County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement officers responded to 214 S. Fifth, where they discovered the body of 48-year-old Kevin Hackerott.
As of Friday afternoon, an autopsy had been performed, but various lab and toxicology tests were not yet finished. A cause of death has not been determined.
Sheriff Cole Presley said there was no evidence of the use of a weapon or blunt force trauma, and the investigation is continuing.
