Goodland boy, 10, injured when truck hits guardrail

GOODLAND — A Goodland boy was injured Friday morning in a wreck in Sherman County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2004 Ford pickup driven by Iris Clemons, 46, of Goodland, was westbound on Interstate Highway 70 about four miles east of Goodland about 7 a.m. when she lost control and the truck struck a guardrail.
Iris Clemons and passenger Kurt Clemons, 39, of Goodland, were not injured, but Ethan Clemons, 10, was taken by ambulance to Goodland Regional Medical Center. His condition was not available Friday afternoon.
The boy was the only one in the truck not wearing a seat belt.
