Friday was busy day for thieves

Thieves were busy in Salina on Friday, stealing everything from TVs, to cars, to welding equipment.
Dale Balaun reported his 52-inch Samsung TV, an Xbox 360, a Wii and an iPod Nano were stolen from 701 E. Ash, with a total loss of $2,460.
A green 2000 Oldsmobile Alero, valued at $2,000, belonging to Angelica Newman was reported stolen from 232 N. Sante Fe.
At 663 Viemont, $1,150 worth of welding equipment, including two oxygen tanks, an acetelyne tank, a welding torch and hoses belonging to Douglas Hillman was reported stolen.
At 510 W. Antrim, an $800 wood stove belonging to Roger Pentico was reported stolen.
