Two taken to Hays hospital after rollover

RUSSELL — Two people from Colorado were taken to Hays Medical Center on Sunday morning after a sport utility vehicle rolled on Interstate Highway 70 near Russell.

The driver, Ralph J. Daloisio, 67, and a passenger, Virginia M. Daloisio, 58, both of Pueblo West, Colo., were taken by ambulance to the Hays hospital. Their conditions were not released.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that Ralph Daloisio was westbound on I-70 when the SUV entered the median. He overcorrected and the vehicle rolled over once, about four miles west of Russell. The crash occurred at 10:54 a.m.

Both occupants were wearing seat belts.
