Glasco man injured in crash

GLASCO -- A Glasco man was injured Saturday night in a crash at the intersection of Kansas Highway 81 and Iron Road in Cloud County.

Larry Berndt, 54, of Glasco, was driving west on Iron Road and failed to yield at the highway intersection. Berndt's car struck a car driven by Matthew Gilbert, 45, of Jamestown, on the driver's side, according to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at 10:30 p.m.

Berndt was taken to Cloud County Health Center in Concordia. Information on his condition was not available Sunday.

Gilbert was no injured.

Neither driver was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
