Salina foundation accepting grant applications

The Greater Salina Community Foundation is accepting applications until Sept. 8 for grants from the Fund for Greater Salina, an unrestricted community grant fund supported through donations and investment returns.

Grants will be awarded to nonprofit organizations, individuals or groups with a charitable project that will benefit people in Saline County.

Since its inception, the foundation has awarded more than $550,000 in grants -- ranging in size from $250 to $5,000 -- from the Fund for Greater Salina.

The application, grant guidelines and supporting information may be found at gscf.org, or may be obtained from the foundation office, Box 2876, Salina 67402-2876, phone 823-1800. Only applications on the foundation's updated form will be accepted.
