CONCORDIA - A federal jury trial for Landon B. Hedstrom has been set for Jan. 24 in U.S. District Court in Topeka for solicitation to rob Citizens National Bank in Concordia.
Hedstrom, 18, was arrested Nov. 17 at the bank in Concordia. He was released on his own recognizance Nov. 18, according to information from Jim Cross, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney for Kansas Barry Grissom.
A Facebook page for a person named Landon Hedstrom on Nov. 18 listed employment as a teller at Citizens National Bank and at Swedish American State Bank. The page also listed Hedstrom as being from Belleville but living in Concordia.
That Facebook page did not exist Tuesday.
The indictment reads that Hedstrom is charged with soliciting another person to commit armed robbery. The indictment lists that person as R.H. Cross said R.H. will be a witness at trial.
