The 2010 Senior Fair, "To 'Oldly' Go Where No One Has Gone Before," is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Bicentennial Center.
The fair is sponsored annually by the North Central-Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging to highlight options for seniors and family caregivers.
The cost is $15 for people who register before Sept. 10. The price includes fair events and lunch. Cost for people who register after Sept. 10 is $20. To register, call 1-800-432-2703.
The fair features workshops, entertainment, a silent auction and more than 70 exhibitors.
Joe Baker, president of the Medicare Rights Center -- a nonprofit consumer group specializing in Medicare and health policy -- will present information about health care reform. Baker will also discuss health care policy in a "talk show" format session at one of the fair's six break-out sessions.
Lyn Hester, an Oklahoma City businesswoman and founder of The International Center for Humor and Health, will lead sessions on how humor conquers or reduces stress.
Workshop topics include fall prevention, avoiding Internet and technology scams, social networking, wills and end-of-life decisions, and "Big Dipper Disco."
