CLIFTON -- "Little Festival on the Prairie," a music festival, is May 29-31 at the LCL Buffalo Ranch at Clifton.

More than 30 bands representing different styles of music will play on two stages. Music will include pop rock by Cloverton, of Manhattan, bluegrass by Scenic Roots of Concordia, and The Franz Family, of Arkansas, and alternative worship by Anthony Skinner and his band, from Nashville. One stage will be devoted to indie rock, sponsored by Jack Reeves and friends of Central Christian College in McPherson.

Photography and visual arts by local artists will be shown in the old barn. A play area for children will feature a moonwalk. Local food and merchandise vendors will have booths.

The public is invited to begin setting up tents Thursday evening. Music will be performed from 5 p.m. Friday through noon Sunday.

The festival is hosted by Kingdom Promotions, a nonprofit ministry located in Clay Center. For more information, go online to www.kingdompromotions.org or call (785) 632-3357.
