Depression support group forming
A kickoff meeting for a support group for people affected by depression is planned for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Prescott Room of the Salina Public Library.
Mary Ann Carlson, psychiatric physician assistant at Central Kansas Mental Health Center, will speak about, "Depression: Is It All In Your Head?" focusing on the physical aspects of depression.
The meeting and the ongoing support group are open to any interested adult at no charge. Registration is not required.
The support group will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. the second Thursday of each month in Meeting Room 1 of the Salina Public Library's Community Learning Center, 308 W. Elm.
