Chili supper fundraiser planned
GYPSUM -- The Southeast of Saline High School FFA and other groups are sponsoring a chili supper fundraiser Friday to benefit the family of Justin Jensen.
Jensen, a seventh-grader at Southeast, has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and recently underwent surgery and radiation therapy at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The supper is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the school and will include chili, cinnamon rolls, relishes and tea or coffee. Donations will be accepted.
