Bereavement group offered in Dickinson County

ABILENE -- Home Health and Hospice of Dickinson County is offering a bereavement group from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays, beginning Monday, at the Home Health and Hospice Office, Memorial Hospital Annex, 515 N.E. 10th, in Abilene.

Chris McKee, bereavement counselor, will serve as the group facilitator.

The group will focus on the period of grief and transition following the loss of a loved one. Time will be allowed for sharing personal experiences.

The sessions are free. Donations to cover the cost of materials are welcome. Those who attend are encouraged to bring along a supportive partner. Registration is not required.
