Benefit auction planned
CONCORDIA -- An auction is planned Saturday at Kearn Auction House to benefit North Central Kansas Honor Flight, which provides free trips for World War II veterans to monuments in Washington, D.C.
A group is scheduled to fly to Washington May 29 and 40 for the second NCK Honor Flight trip.
The auction begins at 9 a.m., with doors opening at 7:30 a.m. An open house is 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the auction house.
Items up for bid include a Kansas State University football autographed by Bill Snyder; a University of Kansas basketball and print autographed by Raef LaFrentz; Nintendo DS games and accessories; and other household items and collectible items.

All proceeds go to NCK Honor Flight.
