Children's Disaster Services offers workshop

Friday and Saturday are Oct. 9-10

McPHERSON -- Children's Disaster Services is offering a workshop to train volunteers Friday and Saturday at First Church of the Brethren in McPherson.

Children's Disaster Services has worked with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the American Red Cross since 1980 to provide care for children and families following disasters. Volunteers set up and operate special child care centers in disaster locations.

Cost for attending the workshop is $55.
