BELOIT -- The Mitchell County Historical Society and North Central Kansas Genealogical Society will host a Scandinavia "Bord" Workshop at 2 p.m. July 9 at the Mitchell County Museum, an eighth of a mile south of the junction of Kansas Highway 14 and Kansas Highway 24.
Lorna Nelson and Lenora Lynam from the McPherson County Old Mill Museum in Lindsborg will teach how to access genealogical records, how to start German ancestry research and how to understand German birth certificates.
