United Way to kick off fundraiser

ABILENE -- United Way of Dickinson County will have its annual Campaign Kick-Off from noon to 1 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Eisenhower Presidential Library.

The luncheon is a celebration of the beginning of the campaign to raise $95,000 to fund 20 nonprofit agencies in Dickinson County.

This year's luncheon is catered by Kirby House. Tickets are $5 and must be purchased in advance at the United Way office, 203 N. Cedar.
