3 hurt in crash

BELLEVILLE - A Clay Center couple and a Belleville woman were injured Sunday when their cars collided at the intersection of U.S. Highways 81 and 36 a half mile south of Belleville.
Charlotte L. Fuller, 71, and Rex Fuller, 73, both of Clay Center, and Donna V. Moravek, 48, of Belleville, were taken to Republic County Hospital in Belleville, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report. A hospital spokeswoman said Monday that no information could be released on their condition.
According to the KHP report, Charlotte Fuller was driving west on the U.S. 36 off ramp entering U.S. 81 when her car was struck on the driver’s side by a car driven by Thomas L. Moravek, 55, of Belleville, about 12:50 p.m. Sunday. Thomas Moravek was reported to be not injured.
Both drivers and passengers were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
