PARK — An Alexandria, Va., man and a Hoxie woman were injured Thursday when their car entered an Interstate Highway 70 median, crossed both lanes of traffic and overturned in the ditch just east of Park. Aaron D. Mihalik, 29, and Jenna L. Kennedy, 23, were taken to Gove County Medical Center in Quinter after the crash, which occurred at 12:38 p.m. one and a half miles east of Park. Information about their conditions was not immediately available. According to a Kansas Highway Patrol report, Mihalik was driving west when his vehicle entered the median. He over-corrected, and the vehicle veered across both lanes of traffic and entered the north ditch, where it overturned. Both Mihalik and Kennedy were wearing seat belts, the report said.
