Bright red Christmas poinsettias wrapped with good cheer were delivered by the Natoma Lion''s Club to more than 40 Natoma residents who are over the age of 80 years. The plants were purchased from Wal-Mart and personally delivered by Lion''s Club members to those who reside in Natoma and those who now live in assisted care and hospitals in Russell, Plainville, Gorham, and Hays. The project has continued for several decades and was spearheaded this year by Arthur Hachmeister who turned 89 in November. The enthusiastic club continues to bring joy to the community throughout the year with many other projects.
