Voting begins today in the Salina Journal's Christmas Lights contest, and nominations still are being accepted.

To vote for your favorite Christmas display, or to nominate a display, go to www.salina.com/christmas/. Nominations also may be mailed to Christmas Lights, c/o Sharon Montague, Box 740, Salina 67402-0740. Nominations also will be accepted by phone at 823-6464, ext. 150, or by e-mail to news@salina.com.

The names of people who make nominations will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Stutzmans Greenhouse and Garden Center. Each time you make a nomination, you'll receive an entry in the drawing, so the more nominations you make, the greater your chances of winning.

Votes will be accepted through midnight Dec. 15.

The winning homeowner will receive a $250 gift certificate from Stutzmans. The second-place winner will receive a $100 gift certificate from Pettle's Flowers, and third place will receive a $50 gift certificate from Sutherlands Building Materials.

The winning homes will be featured in a story in the Dec. 20 Salina Journal.
