A 23-year-old Salina woman died Thursday at Wesley Medical Center of injuries she received in a traffic collision.
Robbin M. Ward, 2030 N. Fifth, died at 5:43 p.m. at the Wichita hospital, Salina Deputy Police Chief Carson Mansfield said this morning.
Ward was injured Wednesday afternoon when the car she was driving and a car driven by Sarah M. Smith, 18, of Salina, collided while both cars were southbound on Interstate Highway 135, south of the Schilling Road interchange.
A passenger in Ward’s car, Abbey Bannister, 20, of Caldwell, remains in fair condition at Wesley, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Staying at the Hampton Inn in Salina this morning, talking to a lovely lady & her husband in the breakfast room. I asked where they were heading, and she said "we're here for our grandaughter's funeral". Robbin must have been her grandaughter. God bless them all... Robbin & her mourning family.

My deepest sadness goes to Robbins family and friends. Sometimes in our deepest sorrow, we can find comfort knowing our loved one is safe in the arms of Jesus. From Bonnie Harden in Fort Collins.
