Two hurt in crash near Abilene
ABILENE -- A teenage girl and woman from Abilene were injured in a rollover crash about 3 p.m. Thursday on Interstate Highway 70, three and a half miles west of Abilene.
Cassandra Rachelle McNeely, 16, and Samantha Jean Parson, 32, were taken to Abilene Memorial Hospital. Their conditions were not available.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that McNeely was driving east in the left lane of I-70 when the car dropped off the highway. She over-corrected and the car slid sideways and rolled. McNeely and Parson were not wearing seat belts and were ejected, the patrol reported.
