Christopher Craig Platt, 22, of Salina, passed away Friday, Oct. 30, 2009. Mr. Platt was born in Loma Linda, Calif., on Dec. 29, 1986, the son of Craig and Tammy (Rowe) Platt.

He was a guard at the Saline County Jail. Survivors include his parents, Craig and Tammy Platt, of California; sisters, Larissa Tersteege and Brielyn Platt, both of California; nephew, Lucas Tersteege, of California; grandma, Sondra Rowe, of Oklahoma, and grandma Lillian Platt, of Washington; great-grandma, Marjorie Kilmer, of Oklahoma, and great-grandma, Dorothy Platt, of California; girlfriend, Brittany Buttermore, of Salina; and best friend, Dan Hardinger, of Salina.

He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Nickolas P. Platt and grandpa, James Rowe Sr.; great-grandpa, Nickolas N. Platt and great-grandpa, Ray Kilmer; and great-grandma, Ann Platt.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at First Southern Baptist Church, Salina. Burial will be in Eastside Memorial Park Cemetery in Minden, Nevada.
