n Hot water in rest rooms not hot enough. Superior Plumbing readjusted mixing valve.
Pit Stop, 647 W. Cloud -- Nov. 24
n Tobacco spit found in trash can in front of hand sink in food preparation area. Two containers of chew were found on food prep counter.
n Dirty set of tongs with dried food debris on the scalloped areas were sitting on top of the clean, empty hot holding case.
n Fountain pop ice machine water inlet lines are dirty and contain black mold.
n Plastic container of sausage gravy not cold enough. Thrown out.
n Bathroom cleaner and industrial floor cleaner/degreaser stored with sample bags of coffee and container of sausage gravy.
n Container of WD40 stored with sample bags of coffee and open container of Vaseline. Employee not certain what the WD40 would be used for.
n Dead June bugs, flies, spiders and other insects were found in cabinets below fountain pop area.
4-H Building and Ag Hall, Kenwood Park -- Nov. 25
n No violations.
Chile Pepper Restaurant, 261 S. Broadway -- Nov. 25
n After getting sauce on hands, cook wiped them off on a common towel soiled with sauce and then went back to rolling enchiladas without washing hands. Towel removed and cook instructed.
n Owner was putting cheese and shredded lettuce on cooked foods with bare hands. Owner and cook put on gloves.
n Pan of rice and pan of refried beans on steam table not hot enough. Rice and beans reheated on the stove.
n Plastic container of diced tomatoes sitting in pan of ice not cold enough. Beans in walk-in cooler not cold enough.
n Two bags of raw pork were sitting in 3-vat sink to thaw, and two bags of fried tacos and bag of fajita chicken were sitting on counter to thaw.
n Dirty wiping cloths sitting on counter instead of bucket of sanitizer. Wiping cloths moved to sanitizer bucket.
