Rollover during storm injures Bennington women

BENNINGTON -- Two Bennington women were injured Friday during a rollover south of Kansas Highway 18 in Ottawa County during a severe thunderstorm in the area.

According to a Kansas Highway Patrol report, Ricci L. Gutzman, 52, Bennington, was southbound on 170th Road just south of K-18 at about 8:30 p.m. when her vehicle left the west side of the road and rolled.

A passenger in the vehicle, Sally L. Gutzman, 46, was taken to Salina Regional Health Center. No report on her condition was available Saturday. Ricci Gutzman was treated for possible injuries at the scene, according to the report.

Neither woman was wearing a seat belt, the report said.
