Man accused of entering woman's home
A Salina man was arrested at his home early Friday, accused of earlier going to his former girlfriend's residence, arguing with her and taking her cellular phone.
Jonathan T. Dong, 36, 329 W. Republic, was arrested on charges of robbery and domestic battery.
Lt. Gerald Shaft said Dong told officers that he had been out drinking Thursday night. Shortly before 2 a.m., a woman called 911 and said Dong had climbed over her balcony and gotten inside her home, located in the 2500 block of South Ohio Street, without her permission. When the officers arrived, she said he had left and taken her phone. The woman was not injured.
