CONCORDIA -- The eight-hour continuing education class, "Balancing Act: When Your Schedule is Full and Your Bucket is Almost Empty" will meet from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the Country Inn Suites, 2760 S. Ninth. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m.

The instructor will be Jenni Reling, of Beloit.

The North Central Kansas Chapter of the American Red Cross will host courses in Water Safety Instructor and Waterpark Lifeguarding.

The WSI course will be offered from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 21, 22 and 23. Cost is $170.

The Waterpark Lifeguarding course will be offered from Dec. 28-31. Cost is $160.
