JETMORE, Kan. (AP) -- Voters in Jetmore will decide whether to retain Mayor Bill Goebel in a special election this week.
Goebel's opponents gathered petitions to force Tuesday's election after accusing the mayor of misconduct.
They allege he took part in decisions that benefited businesses that Goebel owned, and that he violated the Kansas Open Meetings Act.
