County to tackle audit agreement

Saline County commissioners Tuesday are slated to consider an agreement with Honeywell Inc. to conduct an energy savings audit of county government buildings.

The audit agreement with Honeywell is for a consultant to determine the scope of energy saving upgrades needed in areas such as replacing windows and making heating and cooling systems more efficient.

The commissioners' formal meeting begins at 11 a.m. in Room 107 of the City-County Building. Commissioners also meet informally from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4 p.m. Tuesday. Most sessions are open to the public. View the entire commission agenda at www.saline.org.

Commissioners are also scheduled to consider resolutions vacating portions of Stimmel, Miller and Sunnyside roads, and a portion of Third Street in Glendale.
