City commission to consider resolution

A resolution establishing a special improvement district for street improvements, as well as drainage, water and sewer improvements in Salina's Grand Prairie subdivision, is on the agenda for consideration by Salina city commissioners Monday at their weekly meeting.

Grand Prairie is a new housing development to be located on private property at the Salina Municipal Golf Course in east Salina. Lots in Phase 1 of the development are subject to an estimated special assessment of $34,531.52 with the final assessment being determined once the project is complete and costs are finalized.

The formal city commission meeting starts at 4 p.m. in Room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 W. Ash. The entire agenda may be viewed at www.salina-ks.gov.

Monday's agenda also includes proposed resolutions for equipment work on two wastewater pumping stations and at the city's water treatment plant located at 401 S. Fifth.
