40 Days for Life

I would like to share the results of our fall 40 Days for Life Prayer Crusade, which took place from Sept. 23 to Nov. 1.

According to David Bereit, national director, there were 212 participating cities in 45 states, five Canadian provinces and Denmark. Tens of thousands of participants prayed in front of abortion facilities and at home. Reports are still coming in, but as of now, 606 known babies were spared from abortion, eight clinic workers quit their jobs, including Abby Johnson, the Planned Parenthood director in College Station, Texas, who experienced a profound conversion and now prays outside her former workplace. Two more abortion facilities closed down.

This illustrates the power of prayer and fasting. Let's all continue our prayer as individuals until the spring campaign begins.
