Straw giveaway planned for outdoor pets

For the third year in a row, the Friends of the Salina Animal Shelter and the Salina Animal Shelter will give away straw for outdoor pets.

The straw giveaway will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Salina Animal Shelter, 329 N. Second. Both full and partial bales will be available.

Donations will be accepted but will not be required.
