Mrs. Santa's Store to be open Dec. 4, 5

Mrs. Santa's Store, sponsored by the Salina Parks and Recreation Department's 50 Plus Program, will be open 3 to 6 p.m. Dec. 4 and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Salina Senior Center, 245 N. Ninth.

The store is open to all children from kindergarten through fifth grade. It is full of homemade items made by Salina senior citizens. Everything is reasonably priced, and senior citizens will assist shoppers and wrap the items for customers.

Proceeds from the store help support programs for local senior citizens.

Volunteers are welcome.

My 5 yr old started "shopping" here when she was 3 and she loves it! They all do such a wonderful job making these beautiful gifts for the children to give!!
