Alone without power

Being the only one without power on our street is tough. It is tougher however, being told that you''re essentially last on the list to have service restored. According to Westar''s website their priority is to restore major outage problems before moving onto minor ones. Their minor problem is my major problem. Having three children, a girl who just turned seven today, a boy that turns 8 next Thursday and a ten year old girl makes this "minor" problem very hard to deal with. Luckily my wife has ex-husbands. I know that sounds weird, but with us and one ex-husband out of power, the other took in two of the children that were not his own and kept them warm last night and all day today. We are blessed to have the children taken care of and we know that. We''d just like to have our home restored to us. It is no longer a shelter, but a sepulcher. God bless those fixing the power and please hurry to my house.
