A Salina woman was injured about 9:20 p.m. Tuesday when she lost control of her sport utility vehicle on ice and collided with an oncoming pickup truck.
Tiffany Heath, 27, of Salina, was taken to Salina Regional Health Center and transferred to Wesley Medical Center Tuesday. She was released from the hospital Wednesday, a Wesley spokeswoman said.
Heath was injured in the crash in the 700 block of North Ohio Street, according to a Salina Police Department report. Her SUV was traveling north when it failed to negotiate a curve and struck the southbound truck driven by Leland Sutton, 22, of Salina.
Sutton was treated at Salina Regional, as were a passenger in his pickup, Carly Bergman, 20, of Salina, and a passenger in Heath’s SUV, Aaron Rowan, 30, of Salina.
Rowan and Heath were trapped in the SUV and had to be cut out by emergency responders, said Lt. Scott Siemsen, criminal investigation commander with the Salina Police Department.
