When officers entered the home of Jeremy Michael Dunham Wednesday, they first noticed a man seated in a recliner with a pipe in front of him, on a table.

“The odor of marijuana was overwhelming and you could see the smoke in the air,” said Lt. Jim Norton, commander of the I-135/I-70 Drug Task Force.

Armed with a search warrant, task force members found 40 grams of marijuana, worth $100, and two grams of methamphetamine, worth about $200, in the home at 825 S. Ninth, Norton said. They also found pipes, a marijuana grinder and a set of scales, Norton said.

The task force had received several citizen tips about possible drug activity at the residence, Norton said.

Dunham, 33, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. and faces various felony and misdemeanor drug charges.
