But he would gladly accept the results of responses from 100 people, with 63 favoring a new pool, 16 undecided but leaning toward “yes,” and 21 against it.
The survey, taken during last week’s fair by the Visit Salina office of the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce, asked several questions in an attempt to gauge travel habits, favorite future Visit Salina events, and interest in volunteering, said Lauver, the chamber’s president and chief executive officer.
“It was all stuff that will help us market Salina as a travel location,” he said.
