Mr. Caswell was born on November 4, 1923, in Logan County, Kan., to William and Frances (Hall) Caswell. He was a chemical trader with Phillips Petroleum Company and a farmer in northwest Kansas. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Caswell, of Laguna Woods, Calif.; son, Lynn Caswell, of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; daughter, Sandra Ward, of Lawton, Okla.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Caswell; and sister, Nellie Reid.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home, Oakley. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
