Royals Caravan coming to Salina
The 2009 Kansas City Royals Caravan will visit Salina later this month.
Pitchers Gil Meche, Kyle Davies, Royals Hall of Famer John Mayberry, radio broadcaster Steve Stewart and team mascot Sluggerrr will be at Wal-Mart, 2900, S. 9th Street, from 6-7 p.m. on Jan. 20.
The Salina stop is sponsored by KSAL radio, which carries Royals games during the season.
The Caravan will be in Fort Riley (noon-2 p.m.) and Manhattan (3-4 p.m.) earlier in the day.
