6/30/2008
Rep. Charlie Roth, R-Salina, has been appointed to represent the Kansas House of Representatives on the State Employee Pay Plan Oversight Committee.

Lawmakers began working on the new state pay plan during the 2007 Legislative Session after Speaker Neufeld appointed a House Select Committee to study and make recommendations to improve the state’s current system. Rep. Roth served on the nine-member select committee.

The new pay plan will be implemented during the next five years. The oversight committee will report each year to the Legislature the progress made in the development, implementation and administration of the new pay plan and the associated performance management process.

Rep. Roth represents the 71st House District. He sits on the House Judiciary Committee, the House General Government Budget Committee and the House Commerce and Labor Committee.
