Bird City death investigated

BIRD CITY — A 31-year-old man died of an apparent shotgun wound early Sunday morning, but authorities Tuesday night were still piecing together the circumstances of his death.

Wade Sheldon Lee, Bird City, was found in the street around 3 a.m. and pronounced dead at the scene, said Cheyenne County Attorney Justin Barrett. Another person suffered what Barrett described as minor abrasion injuries and was treated at St. Francis Hospital.
