says.... I live away from Salina, but I know my brother went there, because of family issues. Which is sad, cause now he is no longer with us. But is is good to know there is a place for people to go to have a wonderful meal to share with others. Everyone has their own story, but no one should be alone, or without for the holidays.

The place to raise children
It's one thing when a group of local folks sit around and compliment their community. It's quite another when outsiders have good things to say about our town, especially a big-time national business news magazine.
For those who missed it, the Journal published a Page 1 story Friday reporting that BusinessWeek magazine named Salina as Kansas' top community to raise kids.
